Apologies if there are already eleventy billion threads on this topic.
About to move into a ‘doer-upper’ and the entire kitchen will need replaced.
Can some of you wise folk share your thoughts/experiences of induction hob over gas? We’ve only ever had gas. I’m completely clueless about induction!
Pros & cons please.

Huge thanks

I haven’t RTFT but I absolutely love my induction hob and cannot recommend highly enough. I will never go back to gas. It is just as responsive as gas but is more eco friendly, safer without the open flame, and easier to clean. Inexpensive induction cookware is also plentiful these days. I’ve got an induction wok from Amazon that was about 25 pounds and works brilliantly.

I’d say to go for one with flexible space if you can. Mine is 80cm with 4 normal heat points and then a long flexible space, so for example I can make gravy in the big turkey roasting pan on the flexible zone.
