Anyone know about mining reports? Are they automated now?

Anyone know about the new style mining reports that are done by a private company (not The Coal Authority) within 24 hours? Automated arse covering exercise done by a bot or worth the paper they are written on?

Why are you not going through the coal authority? I worked for a search company for ten years. Coal authority searches were far more thorough and you can actually call up and speak to them for advice.

My solicitor did the search via another company, presumably because they have 'better data modelling'. The Coal Authority no longer have sole licence over coal data as it was opened up to competition in 2018. I'm trying to work out is this is a bad thing in terms of private company trying to cover arse and/or inflating the risk to justify their data modelling bull!
House has been standing for over a hundred years.

Probably because it was cheaper. I’d go for a coal authority search. Never rated the personal search companies much.

Are the report now one and the same? Following the same format for con29m?
