How much would you pay for a tenancy clean?

Three bedroom house, redecorated throughout, brand new bathroom. Two others, installed two years ago and cleaned by a cleaner weekly. Three bedroom carpets and two stairs carpets to clean, wood or tiled floors otherwise. Thoroughly cleaned for Estate Agent photos, needing a tenancy clean.

My last house I did myself. Took me about 7 hours but that was including removing blu tack and stickers from DD's bedroom walls and doors. I think I would probably pay 100-150 although I guess it depends how long it takes.

Had a few over the last 5 years- never paid less than 150.

Not quite the same thing but I recently had a 3 bed semi thoroughly cleaned before we moved in, it cost 250.00 and they were in most of the day

Livingintheclouds · 24/06/2021 19:45

I'd say at least £250. Depends where you are.

I paid £450 for the 4-bed, 3-bathroom house we rented between selling and buying. They did an excellent job and it was guaranteed to pass inspection

We were quoted £550!!!! I nearly fell off my seat

£300 should get a decent job done. When we left our 2 bedroom flat 4 years ago the end of tenancy clean was £220.

As its an end of tenancy cleaning, will it be furnished or not? cuz that does make price difference. Use this cost calculator to get an idea of end of tenancy cleaning prices. Really helpful, if you don't know how much you should pay..!
