Anyone waiting for mortgage decision?

Application done day (via broker) and getting submitted on Monday. I'm so nervous!

I just see no one replied did you get your mortgage ? We are just submitting ours now through our broker . Hate the waiting around !!!

We are waiting for out mortgage offer, put in application on 6th August. Only been 10 days but I'm so nervous!

I went direct (with Nationwide) and was told about 21 days turnaround time. Was only about 10 in the end so was pretty pleased!

Ours went in on the 20th July and still waiting! Very nervous! I'm on maternity leave which I was told wouldn't be an issue but I'm worried now.
4 weeks seems ages- its with HSBC through a broker

Yep same. I’m just starting in a new job after maternity leave so really nervous. We’ve used a specialist broker but I’m panicking

@ChillYourBoots81 we are also using HSBC. Notorious for being slow apparently.

We finally got ours last week after a 6 week wait. That was with Virgin but through a broker. Both of us have started new jobs this year so I was worried they’d say no but it all went through fine in the end. Good luck to everyone waiting

Ours went in 29th July. I chased Friday last week and then he said we needed child benefit proof and uploaded and offer given I think he sat on it !! We are exchanging next week x

I submitted direct to HSBC on Saturday - got our mortgage offer this morning!

Ours took 8 weeks and then a week wait for the valuation survey and then another week for results!! Just had the ok today

We put ours in on Tuesday and had the formal offer Wednesday afternoon! Super quick! With the Halifax!

@Kfjsjdbd yes I chased the broker after posting on here and it came through to us and our solicitor 2 days later, took just over 4 weeks in all! Hope yours comes through soon

I put a mortgage offer in on Tuesday this week, waiting to hear back. I had approval in principle before so going there is not going to be an issue.
