Anstey in Leicestershire

I am considering a move to Anstey to be close to family. I don't know the area at all so trying to check crime stats etc. Does anyone know what the area is like? What the crime rate is (hopefully low)?

Is Anstey village nice?

The only thing really going for it is it's next to bradgate park. It's gone down hills lot even in recent years full of scallywag youths. What about there appealed there are several others villages around that I would say are better options is it a location of price thing?

What villages would you recommend Joseybloggs?
