How long did it take for RBS to value your house / future house for a mortgage?

Hi, we applied on 31st March. Email on 5th Apr to say it's been approved pending valuation. They booked that direct with the EA (so in person valuation - which we were surprised about as we have a low LTV mortgage, but might be because there aren't many houses that have sold nearby, and they are nervous about people paying too much at the moment?)
Valuation done on 8th, valuation report received by them on 9th, email with offer approval on 12th
So 13 days for the whole thing but there was the Easter bank hol in the middle.

Not RBS but Halifax have just taken a week to agree mortgage in principle and the valuation date is another two weeks from now
