Bars or no bars on French doors?

Hi, would you have bars or no bars on loft room French doors? Would they annoy you by obscuring the view when you’re in bed? Can’t decide whether we should have them or not! Need to decide today!

Entirely depends on the style of your house. I have loads of french glazed doors (internal and external) and all of mine have astragal bars since my house is US New England Style. If I had a modern house then I wouldn't have them

Think we’re going for no bars as the view outside is amazing and think we’d get very annoyed if the bar was in our eye line in bed! 😉

We had bars on our french doors in living room and it blocked out a lot of light. When we replaced them we went non bar and it made a big difference
