Wasp nests in garage

I'm pretty sure that I've just found wasp nests in our garage!
I rent
The landlord will sort this won't they???

If you go for getting a professional in to remove them, I would suggest asking on your local community Facebook page. I’ve had to have our local wasp man out twice in different years and in different areas! Local man charged £50, Rentolkill quote is £293!!!!
Wow that's quite a price difference!!

I just use Rentokil Wasp Nest Killer. £5 a tin.

You can spray from up to 3ft away. It dissolves the nest and kills the wasps.

However, if the nest is large I would wait till the evening, make sure I am wrapped up well and have a clear exit route.

I have killed both small hanging nests and a large underground (next to the garden gate) nest that way.

If you do decide to deal with it yourself, wear red! Wasps can't see red, so will generally ignore it. Don't wear white or yellow. My mum successfully removed a particularly nasty wasps nest without any mishaps, dressed head to toe in a bright red boiler suit! Grin
