Hi,
We’re looking to move to Thames Ditton / Hinchley Wood area. Are there any particular areas to avoid? What is the crime rate like in the area?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thank you

Virtually everywhere in Thames 'Dizzle' (as the locals call it) is nice. Can't go wrong there.

If Thames Ditton has rough bits there really is no hope! Lovely spot.

Can’t help but smile at the thought of TD being a hot bed of crime Grin but you can check out reported crime in any area using this link www.police.uk/pu/your-area/surrey-police/the-dittons-and-hinchley-wood/
Although watch out for the swans on the Thames , they can be bastards.

Thames Ditton is lovely, can't imagine any rough bits: I think of Hinchley Wood as a bit less village-y and picturesque, but don't know it as well...

We have some friends who live in the ‘Hinchley Park’ new build development just outside Hinchley Wood, and it sounds like curtain twitching, nosy neighbour hell
But, probably a rich seam of material for parking threads...

hello - anyone feeling isolated in the Hinchley Wood/Thames Ditton area, there's a new group for expecting and new parents at St Christopher's Church on Wednesday mornings 11-12. Come along and meet others and even have some grown-up chat time!

Thames Ditton is lovely. Don't really know Hinchley Wood but it has a very good secondary school with a tiny catchment area.
