We started our loft conversion today and the first job was to rip out the existing chipboard floor and seeing what the floor underneath was like. We had hoped that it would meet building regulations, but sadly not.
The architect and structural engineer are going to come and have a look but the builders won't give us even a ballpark figure until they've been.
Wondered if anyone could shed some light on the ballpark we're looking at by sharing their own experiences please? We're in the South West if that makes a difference.
