Painting tile - can I get a colour mixed up?

I'm looking to spruce up my bathroom, and want to paint over the tile splashback in the bathroom. The only tile paint I can find is in white, cream, magnolia, black or grey.

Am I missing a trick? Is there somewhere to buy various colours in tile paint? Or can I get a white tile paint tinted?

Wilko does different colours like a light grey and a light blue.
Tile paint colours

Painted tiles tend to look painted.

more tile paint

You can also get stickers to go over the tiles.

Cheers for the links

Honestly, I think 'looking painted' is a much better option than the old fashioned things I have now. They will need to be replaced eventually, to be sure, but at the moment, paint will have to do.

You can paint tiles using Frenchic paint and they have loads of colours. There's a Facebook page where you can see projects others have done so you could see what the finished look is like.

I'm tempted to do mine. Which Frenchic paint?

SixFeetUnder · 21/05/2021 21:40

I think you can use the Al Fresco or the lazy range for the tiles but I haven't done it myself, the FB group has more details of people that have done it so they would be able to advise. It's called the Frenchic Fan Forum, loads of inspiration there. I painted my upvc front door using the Al fresco range and it looks brand new now.

Thanks SixFeetUnder. I'll look into it.

Thank you for posting about this, the Frenchic Fan Forum is fantastic. I moved in here in March and during my 15 minute viewing hadn't realised the kitchen cupboards are MDF with a plastic type coating - on the Frenchic fb page someone has just stripped hers and painted them. I melted the underneath of the top cupboard cover with the toaster second night I was here, need to get working on them fast!

Ah, @Salome61 my kitchen cupboards are the same! Maybe I'll strip and paint mine, too. Hmmm!

@WineAcademy join the page so you can see, it's a recent post today - the blue kitchen is lovely.
