Sofa bed recommendation

Morning all, I’m looking for a sofa bed for the spare room. Swapping it from a bed so that my teens have somewhere to hang out and watch tv. Any recommendations? Budget is max £600 and it needs to be comfortable enough to sleep on for a week and not too low that my parents can’t get on it properly.

I like the click clack style but are they comfy?

Also because of low ceiling, can’t have a back that is too high and it needs to go up a twisty staircase 😬

Thanks

Just had a look at sofa sofa - the mattresses look SO thin though..
We’re going to have a look at the IKEA one. We’d buy a topper for sleeping so comfort shouldn’t be an issue there, it’s just how hard it is as a sofa that might sway it

I have an IKEA farlov. It is comfy for lounging on and is a double (140cm wide - some are small doubles), fairly thick mattress. Slightly above your price bracket. Comes in pieces!

My dad has the IKEA Lycksele and the bed is extremely comfortable but it's AWFUL as a sofa. It's just not comfortable to lounge on at all.

I’m pretty sure z beds have gone all upmarket and do doubles with pocket sprung and memory foam mattresses for about £300 odd
