Walking away

When do you know if it's the right time to walk away during bidding? I'm assuming it's just gut instinct but it's such a tricky situation

Thanks Big, I'm definitely on the what's meant to be team with most things in life and this purchase would mean living somewhere which has everything we need as a family and more.

Just can't understand how the bidding has jumped so much to push us forwards really quickly. How can the other bidder start bidding in £15k increments then have their most recent bid a £30k jump? Normal?

I need a pause button.

Still wondering if it's a friend of the seller offering phantom bids against us but how likely would that be in today's seemingly regulated market?

House prices are bonkers at the moment. I went to see a house a few weeks ago, it had been on the market for less than 4 days and already had 3 asking price offers.

The estate agents were carrying out the viewings until the end of the weekend and then taking bids. It went for just under 25% on top of the asking price. Madness
