DIY Kitchens Quartz Worktop Recommendation for Norton Shaker in Mussel

Am currently on my second order of quartz samples from DIY Kitchens having decided on Norton shaker cabinets in Mussel. I’m ready to select an order date but none of my first order of 8 samples are quite right.

I’m looking for a light quartz shade. Nothing too sparkly and ideally one of their Innova options rather than the Silestone range to keep costs down.

Knowing how popular DIY Kitchens is on the forum I’m wondering whether anyone has Mussel cabinets and can recommend a quartz from DIY Kitchens? Think I have largely discounted the white and cream cheaper styles with chips and moved onto marble style ones. I’m definitely open to wider suggestions though. I’ve trawled the customer review photographs on the website and their Facebook page but many don’t identify the worktops and could be sourced locally of course.

The cost of fitted quartz worktops ordered from DIY Kitchens seems pretty reasonable. I am assuming that the supply and fit is outsourced locally and wondered whether anyone has a good/bad experience they can share.

Thank you!

Thanks LittleOverWhelmed. That does make sense but not sure where to start with a local supplier really and don’t want to open the doors to any pressure sales. DIY’s templating and fitting cost seemed reasonable at £550 and the 5 day turnaround sounds quick.
Hopefully, my second lot of samples will turn up a good option!

I'd agree with pp. I ordered a shaker from DIY but didn't get my worktop from them. I found a local supplier in SE London, and managed to head to their showroom. Small samples aren't that helpful, I preferred visiting a showroom to view larger samples, and lots of them!

Thank you both! Have identified two stone suppliers and will ring today to see if appointments are necessary. You have convinced me that seeing the whole length would be most useful - have a sample door to take along!
