How long to receive homebuyers report ?

Instructed a surveyor a few weeks ago, waited 10 days for an appointment- survey was carried out last Tuesday so now over a week since it was completed. What is a reasonable time frame to expect the report back? Wish I had checked this beforehand!

We've just instructed a surveyor and they have said we will get the report 5 working days after the inspection. I'd say it wouldn't be unreasonable to follow up today.

Ours took about a week but that was before the market went crazy. I'd assume they're taking slightly longer now. I don't think a polite email is unreasonable though.

Ours took 2.5 weeks which drove us mad. He had promised much sooner but frankly sounded like he had over committed himself with such a mad rush of work on at the moment.

We got ours in three days but all surveyors are different. My sister waited five weeks!

Oh goodness 5 weeks!!! The time we bought our current house we had it back within a day or two but very different market then compared to know. I may continue to be patient, will send him an email tonight though. Thanks

I also had mine done last Tuesday and had the report back on Monday

Waited about a week

I met the surveyor on site to go over any areas of concern. Turned out all was fine. Written report was emailed about three days later.

I got mine the next morning after it was done.

Ours said 10 working days but it came through after 6
