Has anyone worked all year round in a garden office?

Talking sub 10k structures like these:

How is it in reality? They do look good all shiny and brand new but wondering how it is in winter or heatwave. Just generally how are they.

Considering something like this v a 45k loft conversion to give an idea of context. Would probably get a smaller one like the 2.5m x 2.5m one if I did get this? I have a level base but would probably pay for installation and would also need an electrician to do the electrics so may be over 10k when finally done.

My friend works year round in hers and loves it - separates work from home life. She has a heater and a it's insulated that seems to be adequate. She needed a mesh thing for the Internet to get out there though.
I'd get a bigger one than 2.5x2.5 if you have room for it - that seems very poky.

I built ours 7 months ago 5m X 4m at the end of our garden. It serves as a gym and office.

It's a life saving for us, although our house is very big. I use it everyday for exercise in the morning and work from 9am.

I don't think it can be a substitute for an additional room as it has no toilet nor bathroom.

If you need an extra room, you need to build an extension or loft conversion but don't think that a garden room will serve as an extra room

My husband is attempting it this winter and we are getting one end of summer.

I won't use it as I know i couldnt stomach the cold and electric heaters really dry my skin out.
