We are a young professional couple and looking to buy our first home and have seen a few properties in Rugby, Warwickshire. We aren't from the area but are from the midlands, and having lived down south we are now looking to move back to the midlands - but still have fast train links into London for work.
I wondered if anyone knows much about Rugby itself. Are there certain areas to focus on / areas to avoid - it would be great to be as close to the station as possible.
Most importantly - Is it a safe place to live?
Is there a community feel to the area (I appreciate it's a big place) but would be great to know if there are other young couples / young families in the area so it feels lively/vibrant.
If people do the commute, it would be great to hear if this is reliable and as fast / easy as it seems?
