Did you build an extension for a kitchen?

Just that really - just made an offer on a new house, really like to location but it has a small kitchen in an extension at the moment. There is a small open space between the kitchen extension and the fence with next door and I am thinking I would like to extend across, and have a bigger kitchen diner at the back of the house. it would probably be about 3 - 4 metres square, so not massive but it would make a nicer space for the kitchen. Any advice? What kind of costs should I expect?

Maybe £20k for the basic build? Whatever you want on the fitting out. If they didn’t go right across it may be due to drain access.

Ok, that is helpful to know. May have to wait a while then, but I think it would make the house so much better.

I think it's roughly £2k pm square, possibly up to £2.5k of builders are in demand in your part of the country

Great, thank you for that.
