Wooden blinds with tape

I am looking at getting some white wooden blinds for my bay window at the front of the house. I am struggling to decide whether to have the fabric tape or not 🧐. Does any recommend the tape?

We nearly did and got loads of samples from blinds2go but ended up with just string in the end and so glad we did. I couldn't quite get tht tape colour right to start with (who knew there were so many shade of white) but also we have white piping on our windows and the tape would have made it look quite chaotic.

If you have plain glass windows it may work better though!

We’ve just had slightly off white wooden blinds with tape fitted and I really like them.
Just excuse the messy curtains and Easter decorations!

These blinds get SOOO dusty, I'd avoid tape and go for string for that reason alone.

Had the same decision this week - went for string as I didn't want the strong verticals
