Vendors havn'g found a house yet.

I feel in a limbo. Found house 6 weeks ago so atill early days. Vendors are desperate to move apparently but they still havnt found a place. They wete bidfing bug it fell through. Is it normal to feel nervous in case it all falls through? We found this house in a day so we were quite quick

Yes I'm in the same position. Except I had an offer accepted almost two months ago now. I have to move for my daughter's new school (and other reasons, but that puts a deadline on it).
Initially I was told the vendor would move in to rental, so I ordered searches and got a survey done. Now she says she has to buy a place (something about porting her mortgage, which I don't understand as she still has to requalify for it). So issues are: missing stamp duty holiday; having to now move in to rental myself (in London!), having to pay to store all my stuff and move twice.
I think if you are selling you should be prepared to move in to rental or with family if you can't find a property to buy. She is a single woman with no kids. The uncertainty- and fear she will decide not to sell at all - is stressful for me and my daughter.

Where are you currently? rented or selling?

If they’re that desperate to sell to you they will move into rented. I would give a deadline and be prepared to walk away at that point if they don’t meet it.

This happened to us and the vendor took it off the market in the end, to be honest I would keep looking. We have had three houses fall through now and have found something much better each time.
