Going to be having 2 big sliding doors in 3xtension....anything we need to think about if we want option of blinds.

Not overlooked particularly ( one neighbors attic window). So may not have any blinds.

It depends how sunny your room is. We have 3 massive glass doors, not overlooked. Basically we faffed around about it and by the time we'd decided to put them in, it was too late for the builders to recess them above the doors. Roll on a year and a half with me working in the kitchen most of the time, and I really regret not getting them done. We're south facing and I literally can't work in there until after midday on a sunny day. I think we're going to retrofit but will have to be just added on above the doors so won't look as clean.

Most people need for some part of the day. We have 3 large sliders totalling nearly 5m. We bet the sun full on from 7am but has moved enough by 9 not to need in leak summer. However they get very hot!

Don't go for internal blinds...they have a propensity to fail and if not under warranty it's expensive to replace as it is a new slab of glass.

We just bought normal vertical blinds from blinds direct with the premium additional, ie black rail etc. They were £135 are marvellous. No fading of the material at al, despite the intense sun.

If large sliders though account for some space for them to stack back. Ours all stack one way (you can choose) and needs about 40 cm which is ideal as it is where the TV stands

We didn't go for blinds with ours but in the winter it just feels a bit odd. We've now decided to go for something like this:

... not sure if suitable for sliders though, ours are bifold!

We have sliding panel blinds. I don't like the darkness looking at me at night!

We have electric roller blinds in a cassette above each door. Works really well & you can operate as a group or individually. Looks sleek up or down.
