Cost of running a sauna

House we are interested in has a sauna in an outbuilding.

I’m not a great sauna user but it’s a fun thing to have as a bonus... but are they £££ to run?

I'm really interested to know the answer - I want a sauna!

Best to ask the owner as it really depends on what type they have. We are planning one for our new house and the new ones are super efficient. You just turn it on half an hour before you want to go in. I guess it’s largely a question of how often you use it - once a week, every day?

Ooh a sauna sounds interesting. Are there specific items required to run the sauna?
