We haven't started looking at removal vans yet as we haven't got a moving date so I know we need to do that.
What I was wondering is when we move how does it work on the actual day? All the boxes are marked with the various rooms but obviously we need to get into the bedrooms first to clean and put togther the dismantled beds and cot before the room is stacked in boxes.
Just confused about the logistics of all this.

Have you remembered to sort out bills, council tax, phone etc to put into your names? Also need to organise to get gas/electric meters read.

your removal company (assuming it's someone decent) will be very used to all this. you will just need to show them where the ned is going and tell them to leave a gap. you could maybe just sleep the first night on your matress on the floor, obv you will need to put the cot together though. otherwise get a full package removal firm who will actually assemble your furniture for you.
