Cost of adding a dormer to existing loft conversion

There’s a house we are interested in buying, but the loft bedroom is barely usable. You can actually stand up in very little of it. They’ve lost some of the box room putting the stairs up, so it’s the only viable third bedroom and we’re expecting a second baby.

Does anyone know how the cost of adding a dormer to an existing loft conversion compares with converting from scratch? It’s an end terrace and we are in zone 4 south east London.

Ha I'm doing the same so I'm interested too. I'm figuring £20-30k, as I want to shunt the bathroom along and put a laundry room in it's place, but I have no basis other than guessing!
