Best area to rent in Brighton

Hello,
I am considering moving to Brighton for 6-12 months post-pandemic as my company has an office there. I would be moving with husband, no kids. We are early 30s professional couple, interested in being close to the beach (walking distance up to approx 20 minutes would be ideal). We would like the area to be upmarket, quiet in terms of noise pollution, but with things going on nearby such as nice cafes. Currently live in Nantwich, Cheshire and have previously lived in West Bridgford, Nottingham.

Kemptown, Hanover or Seven Dials would be my choice.

What is your budget?
If I had £1500 to £2000 pm for rent then I would look at an apartment in Brighton marina

Seven dials would be perfect. Kemptown good but a little seedy. Hanover also popular but lots of students and very hilly.
Either seven dials or just west of there into Hove BN1 3 or BN3 1

Yeah last time I checked you generally need upwards of 1200-1400 for two beds, around 1k for 1 bed

Thanks everyone, we have a budget of £1000-£1500 and I don’t mind whether it is a one bed or two bed.
