Company that can remove and redo bathroom

Any recommendations?

I want someone that will come in, take out the old bathroom, do the walls, floor and put in the new suite.

Would you be better off asking for advice on local FB or Nextdoor or similar? Or even MN local

We’re getting our bathroom done soon. We found a local place that specialise in bathrooms and have ordered the suite and tiles etc from there.

They then recommended some fitters (mostly plumbing businesses) to give us quotes for a rip-out and fitting.

In our experience, we’ve had much better service (and lower prices!) using local companies instead of national chains.

Any bathroom fitter would do that, you need local recommendations. What do you think the benefits of a national company are? I've never found any.

I've had a look locally and can't find anything that's suitable unfortunately.

We used Homebase and were very happy with the quality and service. Technically their fitting is outsourced - their fitters aren't directly employed by Homebase - but ours worked predominantly for them (and later moved to Wickes, apparently!)

B and q used to do this but stopped. I used a local plumber and he was good and cheaper than the chains.
