Too much oak in entrance hall

We are building our house, we have solid oak internal doors throughout and had originally gone for a grey glass looking floor tile throughout downstairs and wanted an oak stair case with glass panelling but we couldn't stretch to it. Since then our plans have changed and we have a lovely oak chevron floor downstairs, which compliments the oak doors and there's nothing else oak. Except our temporary staircase is being replaced and Dh has surprised me with a lovely oak staircase and glass panelling which originally I really wanted but now sounds like total oak overload. I know worst case we can just change the floor if it looks awful once fitted but I'm feeling very downtrodden about what should of been a nice surprise. Has anyone got similar and it looks ok?

Thank you I've been trying to google and wasn't finding much! Our stairs will have a pale grey carpet on so would break it up a little. The oak stairs and doors are the same colour, our floor is lighter and in a chevron pattern so hopefully it'll break it up. I just definitely wouldn't of chosen everything oak if I'd known! Those pics do look ok so hopefully I'm overthinking. Trying to not ruin the moment as dh thinks he's done a nice thing and it was my choice to change the floor from the tiles. It's only the hallway I'm worried about, upstairs with the grey carpet will look lovely. I guess I can put a pale grey rug to match the carpet down in the hall if it does look awful!

I think it sounds ok and should all go together.

By the time you add some pictures / furniture it will tone it down as well.

Granted my house Is old but I have oak everywhere (listed) Everyone loves it, keep paint neutral and have some lovely art/flowers/colour to suit what I presume is a modern oak feel.

What a lovely surprise! I don’t think it’ll look too much at all, especially if you have carpet and glass panels on the stairs.

We currently have oak floors and stairs, but plain white doors and I love it!

It’s nice to see somebody who’s building their house on here. We’re hoping to do the same if we manage to secure the plot of land we’ve set our hearts on.

I think it’ll be fine once you’ve got furniture in and some accessories. Sounds lovely!
