Hi
Just filling out forms for our solicitor and it's asking for an energy performance certificate and says someone has to come to the house to do this
We nearly moved last year and don't remember being asked for this ?
We have one from 2016 when the property was built. Will I need a new one?

They are valid for 7 years. We sold our home last year and used the one from 2015 when we bought the property. So your one from 2016 will be still in date.

No. They last 10 years.
