Are we allowed to post links for houses? I've got a feeling things could have changed recently...

Anyway, if we are, could you give me opinions on this please, selling it and had no enquiries/viewings at all.

I would:

  1. Take out the kids bedroom photos.
  2. Take out the sheds photo (the old one is coming down this weekend)

Any other comments?

Or do you think people could be waiting to see what happens with the stamp duty holiday?

@badgerread I think your house is lovely. I used to live very near there. Are you staying in the area? I do miss it.

Hi OP, the main things that I love noticed when looking through people have already commented on, but some are easily changed, minor things and others you’ll have no control over but I just thought they might help understanding why people may be out off. It is honestly presented so much better than most of the houses I’m looking at on Rightmove sadly!

  1. When I initially clicked on the link the first photo was cropped and only showed 1 sofa which made me think it look really sparse and like you’ve got no where to sit which is weird. Even seeing both of them the layout of walking straight into the side of the couch makes it seem there’s not much room. The room could be dressed a bit more and look lovely tho!
  1. I’m not a fan of walking straight into a lounge rather than have a hallway. Also, in general having to walk through all the rooms to get to the next one might not be appealing to some people. Nothing you can do about it but just something to be aware of that might be putting people off.
  1. The breakfast bar thing in the kitchen looks really narrow and awkward to use to me as you’re just looking at a wall and not to each other/into the kitchen. It wouldn’t put me off looking at the house, I’d just prob want to change it and put a larder cupboard there or something.
  1. Photo 7 - Take the camp bed out! The room also looks a bit characterless and unloved. Easily rectified with a bit of dressing though.
  1. Photo 8 - Definitely take the stickers off the wall and make sure you don’t have clothes poking out of the drawers as it just focuses your eye on the wrong thing. I also can’t see where there would be enough space for a wardrobe/other storage and the drawers being so close to the camera makes the room look squished.
  1. I would be really out off by the white wall in the garden as Id not want to look at it every time I was in the garden and worry about how much it was blocking the light.

The Minecraft kids room is that a climbing wall?
