Area Guide - Kensworth, Bedfordshire

Hey everyone,

Just wondering if anyone is from around Kensworth and can offer advice on whether it’s a nice place to live and raise a family? DH and I will be working in London Post C19, we’re both happy with the commuting aspect but would be great to get any insight into the village and community aspect if anyone knows.

Would be great to get insight into whether there are many other young professional families in the area too as would like to meet like minded individuals when/if we do move!!!! Xx

I grew up in Kensworth, but I’m no longer local so it may be different these days. Do you know the local area? Dunstable is your nearest town and it’s very different to St Albans in terms of vibe and Kensworth used to be seen as the least swish of the local villages. I don’t remember there being much of a village community - but my family may have just been antisocial!
