Hi, just wondering how much you are paying for a HomeBuyers survey.

I appreciate it's different according to the size of the house but just interested to see.

Personally I'd always have a full structural

I got quotes from anywhere between £450 incl VAT to £790 + VAT, I went for the cheaper option (also the ones who could do it sooner!) I don't need a full structural survey due to the type of house and lack of any extensions etc. I just need to know if there's anything major to be aware of (It would have to be something extremely serious for me to pull out)

Mine was £750 for a 4 bed!

LividLoving · 25/01/2021 20:59

£500

I was just quoted £450 for home buyer report, £600 for structural survey for a 4 bed semi.

£450 buildings survey for first house (pulled out)
£400 buildings survey for second house (same surveyor, 1980s house and I asked for a discount)
Both inc VAT
