Polished concrete floors - any advice?

I have a large living room and the flooring is currently laminate. It will need replacing soon.

I was thinking polished concrete but I’m not sure if I’m being mad. Has anyone got it in their house?

I’m familiar with PC flooring from my Indian relatives houses. One huge negative is that it’s incredibly hard & concrete floors are a big reason why even relatively minor falls can cause a lot of damage in India. If you have kids then I wouldn’t do it.

For more info, just google polished concrete flooring India - you’ll get a huge variety of info.

Thank you - that’s really helpful. Looks like a ‘no’ as both my kids have ASD and are pretty clumsy so sounds like a ‘no’!
