When will my new build be finished?? Painting

Our new build appears to be going well so far and have been given a completion date of 'feb 2021'... just been told that painting has been done now, how likely is it that this means it's almost finished?? Keen to get in as early as possible and feel like this must be one of the last things to be done!

Well the house will be weather proofed so the date should be relatively solid by that point, it's just if something goes wrong, our neighbour had a leak which delayed them 3 weeks. But for us, our date was solid for a good while even before painting.

We got told Oct 2019 didn't actually get in until March 2020 🙄🙄 delays after delays x

Even after they do the final fixtures and fittings, they still have to go through a snagging process which usually sometimes picks up issues.

I know there's a few weeks left at least, I'm trying to cling onto any clue and am hoping and praying that the fact they're painting indicates it'll be about 4 weeks rather than 6 weeks! (Can you tell I'm desperate to get in 😂)
