Best product to clean old lino?

We are renovating a older property and have taken up some old carpet in a conservatory.
Underneath is some very old but good condition lino tiles but they are very dirty & stained.
I'd like recommendations for some thing I can spray on before I start scrubbing. Any ideas??

You could try Viakal?

Ooh! Lucky you, I love old Lino. There’s a guide here: homeguides.sfgate.com/revive-old-vinyl-tile-25979.html Might be worth googeling about a bit to see if other guides make the same recommendations.

Vikal sounds like it’d be best avoided tbh

I've found elbow grease spray to be quite good at lifting old marks. Spray it on and leave it sit for a while then mop or scrub over it.

Diluted sugar soap works brilliantly.

Thank you all so much! Some great ideas to try.

Odd question, but are they definitely Lino? Only suggesting you check as we did exactly the same, and they were actually asbestos tiles - except by the time we’d found out we’d cheerfully pulled them all up! Should have been quietly re-covered.
