Hi all, I hope you can help me. We have a 1901 semi and are painting it room by room. I have just started the hallway and am using Little Greene paints, which I really like, they have nice colours and go on really well. I have used one of their archive colours - 'moon shadow' which is a beautiful deep turquoise blue. I really like clear pure pigment colours, like watercolor paints, rather than colours that are too murky and muddy if that helps.
Anyway, we are now looking for colours for the living room and dining room, and DH would like 'burnt sienna' or brownish orange for the front room, and a grass green for the dining room. I have colour cards for Farrow & Ball, Little Greene, Mylands and Paint and Paper, and the nearest I can get to the colours he wants are the Farrow and Ball colour in nature range Emerald Green and Dutch Orange (this is a bit too bright, but in the right ball park).
Can you think of somewhere else I should look? Am going to look at the Dulux paint cards later, but am I missing any obvious ranges?
