Green Homes Grant No Luck!

I’m currently trying to apply for green home grant and every time I speak to one of these “companies” they consistently take my details but never ever get back to me... anyone else getting the same?

Yes, I had this problem. & when I finally had someone round, they said that the only thing I could get on the grant was a loft insulation 'topup' (I wanted rafter level insulation boards), & even taking into consideration I would only pay 1/3rd, it would have still cost me more than just getting a few rolls of the stuff from Wickes!

I think it's been extended so I might try again next year spring/summer when presumably demand will be lower & perhaps there will be a greater variety of installers.

Thanks Furier- I agree I’m going to try mid next year summer when hopefully everyone is warm and not thinking about insulation!
