Hello ALL

There is a 4 bedrooom on the market for 450 but without a garage and WC.
Would you buy it

Where is it? Can you post the Rightmove link?

PragmaticWench · 15/12/2020 21:37

Umm, it depends where in the world/UK/Country, is the price good for the location?

Could I live without a garage or downstairs toilet (I presume you mean downstairs rather than no toilet in the property at all?), well yes, but not if it's an expensive house for the area.

Too many variables to say really.

BendingSpoons · 15/12/2020 21:40

What are your priorities? Can you get a shed etc to store things like bikes, lawnmower etc? We never actually park the car in our garage.

Assume you mean no downstairs WC. Is it just one bathroom? I'd prefer an extra toilet in a 4 bed, but depends a bit who will live there.

imabusybee · 15/12/2020 21:50

No, because we live in a 5 bed which we bought for 280k which has a garage Confused

Surely this completely depends on the area/your requirements and budget?!

Hohofortherobbers · 15/12/2020 21:53

I'd live without the garage, but try and fit a wc in somewhere

Central London - snap their hand off. Rural NI - rip-off.

That said, no loo at all?Shock

gg12346 · 15/12/2020 22:00

The area is Bexleyheath , Kent .I dont think it qualfies as london.
Sorry I am bit nervous in posting the link since whenever I posted I never got the house .:(
Thanks

there is extra storage area down stairs for keeping bikes and other stuff but there is no garage and no space to build a WC

Don't care about a garage if there's a drive. You could put in a wc (under stairs? Depends on layout). So no, those two things in particular would not put me off. Can't comment on price as do not know the area.

Wtfdidwedo · 15/12/2020 22:08

If it's the one with the dressing room, could that be converted to an ensuite? If it's not that one, then is there anyway to put a toilet in under stairs or in a larger bedroom?

newyeardelurker · 15/12/2020 22:41

I know Bexleyheath, on the surface that sounds ok. It would depend on the area, off street parking, or if not whether its in one of the areas with parking restrictions near town centre or stations. Need a link really...

NotABeliever · 15/12/2020 22:48

No garage wouldn't put me off. No downstairs loo would.be a deal breaker for me unless I could afford adding one.
