Creating dropped curb when have bays/cpz outside house

I live in a small close and have a row of CPZ outside my house, we have permits but the only covers an hour a day so get lots of people using the spaces when they don't live here.

My question is if we have a dropped curb and surfaced over our front garden would the council agree to this? therefore the parking spaces outside would be lost?

You would need to apply to get a dropped kerb put in

I know but we have existing bays outside

Why don't you just ask the council?

I will but they're closed today Grin just thought someone may know!

Don’t know on dropped kerb.

But if you go for to a water-permeable parking area (eg gravel) you’ll have more success with most councils.
