Anyone had a recent mortgage with nationwide

Hello all

Just looking to see if anyone can share any recent experiences and been told numerous things.

Looking to get a mortgage through nationwide, some brokers are telling me I need 6m bank statements, some 3, online nationwide saying 3, some others 6m.

Anyone recently took a mortgage out with nationwide and can tell me how many months of wages/bank statements they had to show?

Thanks x

Another one here who only needed 3 months statements from Nationwide.

We were existing mortgage holders but I don't think that made a difference.

I would advise that you check your mortgage completion statement very carefully though as Nationwide were £10k wrong on ours and it took more than a month for them to return the money!

I ported & borrowed more with Nationwide recently (now have 2 fixed rate mortgages running in parallel on the same property) & didn't have to provide any bank statements - only payslips.

Mine was 2.5 years and they didn’t ask for any bank statements. We went with L and C.

They didn’t ask for any bank statements from us!! But we are current mortgage borrowers with them and just wanted to borrow more and port

I went with nationwide and would HUGELY recommend One77 mortgages - who seem to be ex-creme de la creme of L&C - who got us through the process recently. Amazing service and even got involved in terms of pushing our (slow) solicitors. Please feel free to DM with any queries.
