Areas in Cornwall / Devon / Dorset to live

Hi all - looking for a town on the South coast to move to and build a family. I like Newquay but need more ideas.

Notes:
Beach good for swimming
Good for kids / teens
Near schools

Exmouth?
Close to Exeter for teens, Jurassic coast, east Devon is also an area of outstanding natural beauty, close to Woodbury common, not too far from Dartmoor.
Budleigh Salterton is nice, but pebble beach.

Exmouth is my lottery win second home place. They have an M&S food and sandy beach. Train station to Exeter and therefore London.

I went house hunting in Exmouth and would recommend living near to the Exeter Road, or Douglas Avenue area. The newer estates are a very long way from town and traffic was very heavy.

Bridport would be my fave. Great vibe, community, culture, beach at West Bay and gorgeous stretch of coastline. I also love Lyme Regis but Bridport is a better town for a family to grow up in, less full-on touristy.
