@AlCalavicci

I love my Eufy, I can't post a link on my phone but look for a thread called new Eufy Parents. I am in it a lot so look for my name too.

Lots of pages, it will answers all your questions but for now.
I have a Eufy 11s , it's a basic model and doesn't come with boundary strips but I don't need them.
All have a anit drop feature so won't fall down stairs.
You don't need a / can't use a app.
It has a remote control .
It has a timer so it can be set to run at the same time every day but you can over ride it with the remote.
They all find their way back to the kennel docking station.

You will be horrified about the amount of crap it picks up .
You will end up talking to it .
You will probably give it a name
You might put googly eyes in it .
You will wonder how you managed without it

I have a Roborock S5 Max and I absolutely agree with this post. I'm amazed how much dust it picks up, I do talk to it and it has a name since Day 1!

My favourite ever purchase. I got a cheapie £200 one.
It can’t map out the floor, but it trundles round randomly picking up all the dog hair and dust.
It doesn’t fall down the stairs and i love it!

He’s called Harold. I tell him he’s done a good job when I get in!

I got our Eufy on Black Friday a year or so ago. We have two cats and it's brilliant. I love that it gets underneath the sofa etc, it makes a big difference to 'dust bunnies'. I do find it needs regular emptying but it's dead easy to do, no faffing around with bags, just empty it straight into the bin. We only really use our big hoover for the stairs & sofa now.

I have a Neato, have had for about 5 years. Needed it as had awful SPD during pregnancy and it was a huge help! I still love it, don’t use it as much as I used to, but on those days when I need to hoover and do another 3 things with limited time, it is a huge help. Works really well too!

We have a Eufy called Dustin that works on wifi and you can link it to Alexa. It is fabulous. We send it off to clean and when it's finished it puts itself back to bed. Bought one for DD last Christmas and she loves it. They save loads of time as you only need to give the carpets a deep clean with the dyson once a week. Brilliant on LVT floors and Dustin can go over thresholds between the various rooms. DD's cat likes to sit on theirs whilst it's working!!!

Definitely get one. Ours is the most basic roomba, bought 2nd hand from eBay years ago and s/he (gender varies) is a marvel.

Roborock S5 Max or S6

Laser mapping, can learn 3 floors, set no go areas and it also has a mop attachment.

They go on sale every now and again for around £300, and blow anything else around that price point out of the water.

Alexalee · 12/11/2020 17:02

Anyone got one thats mops aswell? Is it as good at mopping as hoovering?

lockdownguru · 12/11/2020 17:20

@Alexalee My Roborock S5 Max does mopping. However, it’s not that good if I’m honest. I still need to mop myself periodically. Also, it advises you not to use any additive as it might damage the robot - I only use vinegar; therefore, instead of bleach or wooden floor cleaner.

Alexalee · 12/11/2020 17:33

Thanks lockdown thought it was too good to be true that 1 machine could do all floors without any real effort from me

I've got the iRobot Braava Jet I love it - like a pp I do a mop myself one a week but tbh I don't think I need to - the mop pad is always clean from my go round so the robot definitely does a good job. I love mine - she is called Connie. You can only put water in but I use Method floor cleaner which is a squirt and mop effort anyway so it works well for the robot.
