New bath, no taps And shower not hot

Plumbers have installed New bath, bath panel siliconed in. The taps haven’t arrived yet...there’s no holes either. Do they drill them and put them in?

Also...can they make the shower hotter?

That's strange. Our taps got fitted to the bath before it was fitted. Is it an electric shower or power shower?

It’s not electric, straight off the megaflo.

baths can be drilled for taps.

It is more wearing on the elbows to reach up under an installed bath to fit them. Easier to fit everything to the bath first and then put it into position. They will take the front panel off to do it.

Your shower is pretty sure to have a temperature limiting device to prevent scalding. Sometimes there is a little button you can press. Sometimes the knob has to come off.

Or you can get taps in the wall as well but they'd need to be set in place already I should think

The joiner came round to fit the bath panel and realised it wouldn’t fir in normally as the bath legs were too close to the edge (expensive panel and bath!) so he siliconed it in. Presumably not realising they were going to have to come back and fit the taps.

They are back in tomorrow to do the en-suite....

Good about the hot water increase, there’s no button on the outside so it must be inside. I like a hot shower.
