Opinions on Langley Vale please

We are looking to move to Epsom or surrounding villages. I found a house I really like in Langley Vale. I am wondering, what is the reputation of the village like?? I can't find much online, I guess it is such a tiny village not much discussion on it.

I live on the other side of Epsom. I don’t hear any bad things about Langley Vale. I think it’s quite quiet. Not sure about buses though. Really close to the Downs, the Millenium Woods and the racecourse, so a dog is compulsory!
Walking distance to a couple of nice pubs.

I live here and, having lived in Ashtead, actually prefer it. The Vale Primary is excellent, the co-heads and staff there offer a fantastic quality of education on all levels. There is a popular pre-school in the village, lovely park with play area, useful garage and shop for groceries etc. People are friendly and enjoy their location on the Downs with the grandstand nearby. Epsom offers everything a town needs including leisure facilities and a cinema plus quick trains to London. DH and I tend to use Tattenham Corner or Epsom Downs station too. The Rubbing House pub is a walk or 2 minute drive away.
