I dropped a bowl on the edge of our induction hob a few months ago. We repaired the chip with an epoxy putty and thought we had got away with it but when I was cleaning it tonight with moderate pressure it cracked with a line leading to the chip, which had obviously weakened the glass.
The specific model has been discontinued but I have found a replacement part for the glass. Does anyone have experience of this job and is it feasible as DIY?
