Japanese Knotweed /upstairs leasehold flat

Just when I thought it couldn’t get worse...

I’ve looked out of my window & spotted what looks just like Japanese knotweed outside

It’s. leasehold flat, I’m upstairs, really difficult neighbours. Completely worried about what to do

Any advice? Is this going to sink my sale?

Establish first whether it is Japanese knotweed or not. Have you had a survey done? I think if it's that obvious it would have been picked up on that

Pictures would help - is it the dreaded JK or is this just my anxiety about being able to move talking?

It's a weird time of year to see knotweed. Usually it dies back in winter, I thought?

@wannabebump: Thak should for replying, hopefully others will be able to see from pics or I can get someone round

Def not Japanese knotweed - from an expert (not me I hasten to add)

DennisTMenace · 25/10/2020 15:59

It doesn't look like Japanese knot weed to me. Shoots would normally be in spring and have red stems. Have a google so you can compare properly.

You're ok op that is green alkanet and fat hen ... Def not knotweed.

Oops and groundsel.

Lovelydovey · 25/10/2020 16:23

Not knotweed (we had and spent a fortune having it treated).
