How long are they taking at the moment?

8 working days 😍 Including valuation survey.

Excellent news as we recently had a purchase fall through and I was so scared of it happening again.

About a month almost to the day! Broker told us 6-8 weeks minimum but it came through quicker.

2 weeks to get an offer from Coventry via London and Country. Second time we’ve used them as our broker, I love them Grin

@LividLaughLovely which lender? That’s great!

Nationwide told me 20 working days a few days ago...

Lloyd’s took 6 months to sort out DDs mortgage. She’s self employed. They were dire. Literally dire. Nothing was completed or followed up in a timely manner and they had to be chased up all the time. DD is going for compensation. We are private banking clients too.

@Tomatoandbasil Accord, through our mortgage broker. He’s worth his weight in gold and had all our details ready from the one that fell through.

First direct took 3-4 weeks - we had a hiccup with my husband's payslips being in American date format (they didn't believe it was the most recent September payslip - 6th Sept looked like 9th June!). Desktop valuation done there and then during the call.

I should have mentioned they said they would take longer, but I called and got a cancellation appointment and it only took a week after that. Low LTV and I bank with them.
