What has Rightmove done

Anyone know the reasoning behind Rightmove changing their site layout

You used to be able to go directly to street view and look at sold prices for that street in a couple of clicks.

Now you seem to have to go to a new tab and even a separate site to find out what you need.

Happy to be told I have missed something.

Also I look on my phone so don’t know whether all this is still there if I were to have a computer

Op, is there someone else in the home with you who could help you? You literally scroll down and it’s there. Maybe if you have someone else near you you could ask rhem.?

The price history is still not there? You can't chose the street and the definition of "nearby" is quite blurry. Like I am getting prices of the flats around the corner for a house in a different street. Talk about improving the app, really not great if you are doing proper analysis of comparable properties. No new features either so just a reshuffle to make you dizzy. To the posters that really like the change, hope you don't work for Rightmove!

The price history is there, I even posted a pic. I guess some folks are struggling with it, others find it intuitive, which is odd.

It is there on the main page. There is a "sold house prices" and a search button right under it. You can then put in a post code and get a list of past sold prices per house in that area.

Rightmove is absurdly profitable as a company, there’s no way that they’ve done this upgrade without putting a great deal of time and money in to it.

I can see the sold prices in the road now but it took 4 of us to see it.

You have to click through to it from the individual house sale data.
It took Dp who is the only non dyslexic one to find it.

It is a bit like a business in a local village.

It has a billboard stood outside the offices that is a swirl of colours and myself and dc have always wondered what it reads when we pass it. We can make out some letters but it has never made any sense.

I first noticed the change when looking at house prices in our village and assumed it was some quaint rural Rightmove which hadn't quite caught up with the city style of reporting

But then I looked up our house for sale and the quaintness has spread. Interestingly our Zoopla viewing figures shot up with the changeover. I can find everything but the floorplan on ours is blurry on the main page, you have to click through to see the figures. Now I'm used to it its fine and we've just got our first seriously interested buyer round so it maybe helping in our case - maybe as size of house is more obvious now. Though could be coincidence.

Can you still save properties? I can't see how to do that any more

I hate it - don't like the way you scroll down to view room pictures. I looks much cheaper there doesn't seem to be any written details about the rooms or sizes either.

It's horrible, I agree.

Speaking of site changes, has Zoopla removed the total pages views since listing feature? Since this week, can only see total views in past 30 days.
