Pre exchange nerves

We are hoping to exchange in the next couple of weeks, I went by the house today to do some measurements as we are having a short completion period so want to get some things ordered (we are pretty confident it will go through).

But the nerves are setting in. I know the area well so not worried about that but worried about little things - like the water pressure and niggly thing.

Also worried overpaying a bit (I don't think we are). The house is 4 bed, 2 bath in near perfect condition and very modern for 900k. There are two other houses on the road on the market one at £825k and one at £775k, both are three bed and one bath and need of serious modernisation and work. Both went under offer within a few weeks.

We are planning to stay for probably a minimum of 7-10 years, if not like 30 years.

It just seems like soooo much money to be spending and i am so anxious. how do you deal with the pre moving worries!!

Thanks @Bells3032 - just had a phone call and been told that we are aiming for a completion date before the end of the month so I think we'll definitely be using that service ;)

Hi,
Hope it’s ok to jump in

We are currently waiting an actual exchange date, but have been told will hopefully be end of October.
I’m a bit wary as our area is now tier 3, so a little anxious about that but hoping it doesn’t have any negative implications on the whole process.

Hi I have emailed the vendors EA and rang our solicitor she knows we are wanting completion next Friday so waiting to hear

We are now looking at Friday 30 October as well!

No idea if it's do-able as we haven't exchanged yet but our solicitor says we should be able to do that tomorrow, so we can only try and just readjust the dates if it pushes back.

I just want to book a removal company, it's so hard to get started! We are decluttering like our lives depend on it though :)
