We were due to exchange in a couple of weeks and set to move at the beginning of november and found out on Monday that our buyer's buyer has pulled out...I have had no explanation. As a result of this our buyers are no longer in a position to buy and I found out today that the property we were due to buy (the vendors are desperate to sell) have gone back to a previous interested party and accepted an offer.

I am absolutely gutted! We were relocating 200 miles away and I have job interviews lined up. Not to mention the fact that we have already paid £660 for a survey and £250 solicitors...and none of it is our fault.

Is there anything we can do? Or do I just have to accept the fact that we have lost our house and all the money and are back to square one?

Maybe re market and then bank the money and rent for a while in the new place to get a feel for it?Prices may slow a bit over the next few months and you may get a bargain x

We had originally thought about renting to investigate the area, but we have too many pets to find anywhere suitable...
