Help should I buy a house in old woking

Hi I’m a single mum with a 5 year old currently renting in cobham I’m looking to buy a new build with help to buy and stamp duty holiday and have seen a lovely property in old woking but don’t know much about the area and have heard mixed reviews on google. I’m worried as the property isnt cheap for woking and the area may be not so good. However I can’t afford a new build or house on my current location. Advice appreciated on the area and primary school. Thank you ☺️

Have you looked into Help to Buy? You’ll need to find extra money in a few years + you pay a lot of premium for a new build + prices are likely to fall soon. I’d be more sensible to buy an older property without a scheme.
